What is my domain worth?
The truthful answer is that a domain is worth what one specific buyer will pay for it, and no calculator on earth knows who that buyer is. What we can do is show you exactly what serious buyers look at, and then give you a real written read on yours.
Check the fundamentals of any name
This will not invent a dollar figure — nothing honest can, without knowing the buyer. It shows you the characteristics that every serious buyer looks at first.
Five things, roughly in order.
Is there a buyer who needs this exact name?
This is most of it. A name that matches one company’s entire brand is worth many times what the same name is worth to a speculator who would park it. Everything below is a distant second.
Is it a .com?
People type .com without thinking. That reflex is still worth money, and buyers price other extensions below it almost automatically.
Can a person say it and spell it?
Short, no hyphens, no numerals, plain words. This is the single most underrated value driver, because it affects every phone call, sign, ad and conversation forever.
Is it clean?
No trademark shadow, no history of spam, no penalty baggage. A name with a bad past is worth less than a blank one, and the check is free to run.
Is there anything behind it?
A live site with real history is a different asset than a bare name. That is a business sale with a domain attached, and it prices accordingly.
What does not move it as much as you have been told: domain age on its own, an automated appraisal score, and keyword volume in the name. Google has stated that domain age is not a ranking factor, and keyword-heavy names carry no inherent ranking advantage. Buyers who know the market do not pay for those things.
A real person will read it and write back.
Not a score out of a hundred. A written read on what your name has going for it, what is working against it, what a realistic range looks like, and whether you would be better off keeping it and building on it.
If we want to buy it ourselves we will tell you and make an offer. If we think it is worth more to somebody else, we will tell you that instead, and we can broker it for you.
Free. No obligation, no list, no follow-up sequence.

How much is my domain name worth?
Honestly? Whatever a specific buyer will pay for it on a specific day. Domains are not commodities with a spot price. The same name can be worth a few hundred dollars to a speculator and five figures to the one business whose entire brand it matches. Anyone handing you a precise number without asking who the buyer is has given you a guess with decimal places on it.
Are the free automated appraisal tools accurate?
They are useful for a rough band and unreliable for anything more than that. They work from character count, extension, keyword data and past sales of vaguely similar names. What they cannot see is the thing that actually sets the price: whether there is a motivated buyer for whom this exact name solves an exact problem. Use them as a sanity check, not as a number you quote to anyone.
What actually drives the price?
In rough order: is there a buyer who needs this specific name; is it a .com; how short and how plain-language it is; whether it is a phrase people actually use; whether it is clean of trademark conflict; and whether it has a real history or is a blank name. Age and past traffic matter less than most sellers think and less than most appraisal tools imply.
Should I sell mine or build on it?
Depends whether you were ever really going to build it. A name sitting unused earns nothing and costs a renewal every year. If it is genuinely useful to a business in that space, selling it to them is a good outcome for both sides. Here is how we handle that.
Do you charge for a valuation?
No. Send it over and you get a written read on what drives its value and what a realistic range looks like. If we want to buy it, we will say so and make an offer. If we think you should keep it, we will say that too.
Rather just talk it through?
Call and read us the name. Two minutes on the phone usually gets you further than any form, and we will tell you straight if it is worth less than you hoped.
