Come in. The light is on.

Most domain sites are a search box and a shopping cart. This one has a phone number and somebody behind it. Walk in and Marlowe will give you the pitch in about ninety seconds — and you can tell him no at any point.

Marlowe is a cartoon. The phone number is not.

Build it on the desk

Drag what you actually need onto the desk.

Not a checkout. Just a way to work out what to say when you call, so the first two minutes are not spent figuring out what you want. Tap or drag — both work.

On the desk

Nothing yet. Drag something over, or just tap it.

What you are actually buying

Four things a good name does. None of them are magic.

Clarity

It says what you do before anyone clicks. Nothing to explain, ever.

Survivability

Truck door, radio spot, phone call. A name that survives all three earns money daily.

Demand you own

When people search your name directly, nobody outbids you for it. That is the closest thing to an owned channel.

Scarcity

There is one of each. Once you have it, the competitor who wanted it cannot.

Step one

You call or send a note. A person picks it up, usually the same day.

Step two

We ask what you are building. That changes the number, so we ask before quoting.

Step three

You get a real figure and an honest read. No follow-up sequence if you pass.

Straight answers

Before you pick up the phone.

Do I have to call? Can I just buy online?

You have to call, and that is deliberate rather than an obstacle. The right price depends on what you are building, and a checkout page cannot ask that question. A five-minute call gets you a real figure and, just as often, an honest read that the name you want is not the one you need.

Why will you not publish prices?

Because a published number would be wrong in most cases. The same name costs one thing bare, another with a site built on it, and another as part of a cluster. Publishing a single figure would mislead more buyers than it helped.

What does a domain like mine usually go for?

We will not throw out a range here, because a range without your situation attached is a guess dressed up as information. What we will say is how to judge it: compare it against what you already spend each month renting attention, and against what it costs you if a competitor owns the obvious name in your market instead.

Can you guarantee the name will help me rank?

No. Google has stated that keywords in a domain earn no ranking on their own, and that nobody can guarantee a position. We sell these names and we still say it out loud. Here is the long version with sources.

What if you do not own the name I want?

Then we check whether it is simply available to register, which is the cheapest outcome and happens more than people expect. If somebody else owns it, that is our acquisition service — $1,500 to engage, 15% on close, and no promises about the outcome.

Do you take a commission on names you already own?

No. When you buy from the portfolio you are buying owner-direct. There is no broker in the middle, no auction premium and no third party who can change their mind halfway through. Commission only applies when we are going out to acquire a name from somebody else.

The office is open.

Say the name and what you are building. You get a real figure, an honest read, and no follow-up sequence if you decide against it.
